molly and april: tulsa portrait photography

molly and I met at camp egan when we were in MIDDLE school. we have stayed friends ever since--keeping track of each other first over the phone and through letters, then through youth group, then through email and now through the wonderful world of facebook :)

she and her good friend and neighbor, april wanted some pictures of them together and individually and I was happy to oblige!

it makes me me think of making new friends and keeping the old--and I must say, I love meeting the "silver" ones, but it's the "golds" that are the most touching to work with!!!

are they beautiful ladies or what???

shannon and I visited downtown chapel hill and unc's campus for this shoot, and she was all about the details--check out her awesome leopard heels!

after our time in downtown chapel hill we visited a local pool hall. she plays pool competitively and wanted to get images from start to finish--putting together the cue, racking the balls, breaking--you name it, we probably photographed it!

matt traveled down from dc to have me take his headshots--he said he knows plenty of the photographers in his area, but none were going to capture his personality like I could. what a compliment!

we spent some time in downtown durham rockin' out with his guitar and breaking some racks. enjoy!
