elena, chris and kim: carrboro newborn photographer

it's been a very busy last two months, but I am looking forward to catching up on blogging now that I'm done with all of my weddings for the year! I still have some shoots coming up this weekend and while I'm in Oklahoma and Texas for the holidays, but after that it's time to bundle up and enjoy the winter!

also, please keep an eye out for a giveaway coming out VERY soon!

in the meantime...is this little gal adorable or what? she and her fabulous parents let me come to visit them in their beautiful home! I just loved their style--I kept seeing things in their house and thinking how I'd love to have something like that in a future home!

little elena was such a peach! I can't wait to see how much she has changed since I took these!

jackson (jack) john: raleigh newborn photographer

you've already met jack's super-cute parents (see their maternity photos here) and now it's time to meet their super-cute little dude!

Photobucket

he was seven days old in these photos--and every bit as cute and cuddly as the day he was born. he was only eleven hours old in this picture. :)

Photobucket

and blogging about this particular session gives me a chance to share a new product with you--my new calendar!

Photobucket

I'm including one with every newborn session taken between august and december this year, AND if you booked a portrait package with me, I'll be giving you one for also! Want a calendar for your wedding or family photos? No problem! I can custom design one for you! Calendar pricing starts at $20, please contact me for details!

darcy, darryl and rich: durham family and newborn photographer

little darcy was alert and adorable! and she didn't seem to mind the camera, either!

look how precious she is!
Photobucket

and here are ones with her mom and dad--such a precious time in their lives!
Photobucket

sometimes little ones do the cutest things all on their own--here's a good example. I placed those blocks down and within seconds little darcy put her foot just so!

Photobucket

and you can tell she already loves her parents so very much!

the knight family: tulsa family photographer

Meet B, P and their son, P.

B and I were in Girl Scouts together, once upon a time. We lost touch, but then as luck would have it, we ended up living just down the hall from each other our freshman year of college. And we have stayed in touch ever since. :)

B is also the first person to ever purchase one of my photos, and has been a huge help and supporter as I've climbed out on this I'm-a-photographer limb. She is also one talented artist!

but back to the photoshoot and their adorable son....

I love this one of B and baby P--and the giraffe makes me giggle! It is like 5 feet tall and has enviable eyelashes! :)

Photobucket

and I think P posed for this classic ring shot--could it BE more perfect?
Photobucket

I love how you can just tell what proud parents they are! They are beaming!
Photobucket

And lest you think I left him out, P (the Dad) is an extraordinarily talented musician. And a very talented teacher, too! In this picture you can see both of his babies--his son and his new guitar!

Photobucket

I can't wait to see how he has grown! See you all in a few weeks!

welcome jacob!-- durham newborn photographer

this little guy was such a cutie! he wasn't too sure about the whole picture-taking thing, but he was definitely interested in loving on his parents--it was so precious!

these dolls have special meaning to his parents so they definitely made a cameo appearance. they got them on a trip and when I asked them to think of items of importance/meaning they brought these out. love how they look on the blocks!

such a handsome profile!

and these are two of my favorites--mom looks SO happy and in the other I love how dad is looking at mom--so sweet!

and in case he looks a bit familiar to you--YES, this is the same little boy who was my 100th client! :) such a delight to photograph!
