I love it when couples laugh together--and this couple definitely did! but ben and katie were so sweet together too! I could definitely tell that they just had an understanding of one another and that they appreciate the little traits and quirks that make them who they are! they are a "go together like peas and carrots" couple!

jessica and cody: tulsa couple photographer

meet jessica and cody. aren't they the coolest? and the silliest?



jessica and I have known each other, for, well, ~80ish percent of our lives. we've been there for each other through awesome accomplishments and stupid boys, bad haircuts and cute clothes, middle school, high school, college and everything inbetween :)

before they left oklahoma for ohio, jessica and cody wanted to get some t-town photos to enjoy in their new residence. plus, we took these only a month before their three-year anniversary, so that worked out nicely, too :)



It was so much fun working an an area that means so much to me, too (I hail from Tulsa, if you didn't already know). Love you guys!

I can't believe how long it's been since I met the fabulous lady in these pictures--I was a college freshman and new member of Kappa Delta and she was a TU alum and very integral to the operation of our chapter. So of course it was AMAZING when she asked me to take pictures of her and her gorgeous family!

these are the kiddos--Will (the oldest), Drew (next in line) and Landon (littlest bro)--aren't they cuties?





and they make such an adorable family!

so, you know I'm behind on blogging when I'm sharing a maternity session and the baby is already born and more than two and a half months old, ha! but I don't want to miss anything! newborn photos will be up soon for little jack!

the weather and the light were unbelievable for this shoot--but christy and jeff take the cake!



they were such good sports! and since they're also very close friends of mine, it was so very special to get to be a part of this time in their lives! I have to admit, though it is always such an honor to have people let me into their lives and let me chronicle their relationships and family, when my close friends let me do that it is just super touching. I am so lucky to get to be a part of such amazing occasions!







I love these foxgloves! Such awesome flowers! I kind of got distracted by them, I'm not gonna lie. I think they are now my second favorite flowers, right behind the ranunculus. :)

jasmine: raleigh senior portrait photographer

Jasmine waited until graduation-time to do her senior portraits so she could get some in her cap and gown to! We had a fun afternoon at Duke Gardens--everything was in bloom and the weather was BEAUTIFUL!

cassandra and I met to get some iconic pictures at the Old Well to celebrate her graduation! I loved her attention to detail--check out those cute shoes!

andrews family: chapel hill family photographer

I love doing family/couple/baby shoots! It is always exciting to have a bunch of different ages and sub-groupings to capture!

all of these family members came to visit to see sarah (the blonde in the lower right corner) graduate from unc pharmacy school--and they wanted to make sure to get some family pictures, too! it was fun to meet the babies and the siblings and grandparents too!
